Bug Description

Binary package hint: kernel-image-2.6.27-7-generic-di

Intrepid doesn't recognize the Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG in my Dell M1330 with kernels 27-7 and 27-10 (generic). iwconfig and ifconfig shows only the cable LAN. For the moment I changed back to 27-4, but hope you can fix this.

greetings

And here with the generic Kernel I'm using right know (last one who supports my WLAN). Maybe you need it to compare.

Thanks newur,

I noticed the following in your dmesg output:

[ 13.727089] iwl3945: Unknown symbol lbm_cw_print_ssid

Looks like you have linux-backports-modules installed. Can you try the newer 2.6.27-11 kernel in intrepid-proposed? I suspect this is likely a duplicate of bug 294667. Thanks.
