Weekly recordings are started one hour earlier

If I plan a record as "once off", everything works fine, but yesterday I tried to schedule a record as "weekly" and then it started and ended one hour earlier than it should. This problem is reproducible for me.

I'm using Me-TV version 0.5.30 from the Ubuntu repositories.

This has already been resolved/addressed in the new upstream version. The weekly recordings have been removed from the application.

Thanks, Michael! It would be a cool feature (I'd use it), but perhaps it's better to remove it, if it doesn't work properly.

No worries, in Australia the television networks change programming all the time, even on the day. Plus, I'd be suprised if you could use that version of Me TV for a week. The xine library leaks memory, about 300 MB a day.

I agree that it is useful but it just turned out to be too much work/unstable for something that I don't use. Feel free to try it yourself if you want. At the moment, I'm contemplating writing a new frontend to MythTV that looks just like Me TV, that would potentially solve your issue. Have you set up MythTV before?

I don't have any other problem with that version of Me TV.

No, I haven't set up MythTV before but what is better in MythTV than in Me TV? Why rewrite a frontend?

What's better about MythTV (vs. Me TV 0.5.30):

* Support for multiple tuners
* Scheduled recordings that work
* I'm one guy, they are many (more devices/testing)

If I rewrite the frontend then I can stop answering questions about Me TV not working for people.
