Dapper 3 not found CD-ROM Pioneer DR-A10X

Fresh installed Dapper 3 not found CD-ROM Pioneer DR-A10X.
I tryed to choose drivers from list but without success.
CD-ROM is old but I want to use it

Do you by chance have multiple CD-ROM drives?
If so, try putting the Dapper 3 there and continue. We may be experiencing the same issue as reported in https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/30456

No I have only only 1 CD-ROM drive.
It's Plug And Play but OLD model.

I can boot from it, but later Ubuntu can't find driver for it.

Have a same problem with 17.02.06 daily image .. Cannot install because installer cant find my few years old BenQ drive

Please do a fresh installation of dapper and re-test your bug.

Igor, I had this issue with some ide cd roms with twisted drive orders, and with serial-ata hard drives. Can you please try again changing drive order on your machine's bios setup? And a recent dapper, of course.

I am closing this bug since there has been no response for over 5 months. If you still have this problem with the latest Dapper, or Edgy beta, please reopen this bug. Thank you.
