Bug Description

(NCP 2.0b)

apt-clone does not show any progress while downloading. I first thought it was stuck, before I realized it had several hundreds megabytes to download and it already had got some (thanks to apt-get!).
I guess this is a problem of reporting progress way through frontends, but I think I read somewhere the necessary code had been added to APT a long time ago.

The right keywords to search about this is probably a combination of things like:
file descriptor selected by the "APT::Status-Fd" configuration option

Thanks a lot

-v mode already does that... we need to display apt-get progress by default.

Indeed it does, with other information (noise) as well.
Manpage is rather sparse on the subject, though...
It says: -v Verbose output.

Thanks anyway for caring.
