some tests from the 'bzr selftest' failed due to bzr-svn

Hi,

When I installed bzr-svn plugin, the original bzr selftest (not bzr selftest svn) failed some more tests.
I run this test in LANG=C environment; some of the failure/error
might come from this setting.

I use 0.5 branch. The full log file is attached.
