go-home-applet doesn't always 'go home'

Bug Description
go-home-applet works just like the show desktop applet such that, for example:
1. Open two programs, such as Firefox and Freecell
2. Click go-home
3. Click Freecell in the window-picker
4. Click go-home
In step 4 the netbook-launcher should be shown, however Firefox is instead shown and go-home has to be clicked again to show netbook-launcher. It appears that the go-home-applet toggles whether it's showing the desktop and the second click returns the programs back to their unminimized state. It seems to me that clicking go-home should always go home.

I've discovered this bug is due to Compiz. I've switched back to Metacity and all is fine, just no wobbly windows :(
