Bug Description

Performing a full update immediately after installing 8.10.
Whilst the packages were downloading I tried to enable the nVidia drivers but was stopped because of the lock.

linux-restricted-modules:
  Installed: (none)

  Version table:

        500 http://security.ubuntu.com intrepid-security/restricted Packages
     2.6.27.7.11 0

Restarted the update and everything worked the second time (I think)

Hi Victor,

Sorry for the delayed response. Is this still an issue for you? I imagine if you removed the corrupted .deb (/var/cache/apt/archives/linux-restricted-modules-2.6.27-9-generic_2.6.27-9.13_amd64.deb) and re-ran the update, it would be successful. Please let us know. Thanks.
