foo2zjs - HP LaserJet 1018 printer detected but not printing

HP LaserJet 1018 printer is detected properly but it's not printing at all. Only following instructions from site: foo2zjs.rkkda.com makes this printer working. This situation appears both for Intrepid and for Jaunty Alpha1 (with newest updates)

I've already wrote about this site and following rules on it makes my
printer working. Nothing new but thanks for trying.

This printer needs to be configured using hp-setup to function correctly.
The automatic printer detection and configuration (plug 'n print) does not install the firmware that is required for this printer to work.

Simply running:

sudo hp-setup

From a terminal should resolve this problem.

The plug 'n print detection should not automatically set up your printer if it does not work afterwards.
