I have tried removing the original offending package (the kernel headers) but I I found that it seems to be occurring with all the kernel packages, which I obviously can't remove! Is this bug possibly something to do with the NVidia drivers, which I currently have installed?

Hi Joel,
This seems like a duplicate to bug 273681 so I am marking it as such. It would be good if you could continue to track this issue with that report and provide any additional information there. Thanks.
