Bug Description

i'm glad to inform you that a new major stable qt4 version of fwbuilder is out, and already packaged in sid and jaunty, and needs - i think ;) - to be backported!

Fwbuilder v3 is also packaged for windows, macos, and some other distros but v2 can't read v3's file format, so it's quite unusable when you use fwbuilder on multiple os / distros.

Changelog since 2.1.19-5 :

fwbuilder (3.0.1-2) unstable; urgency=low

  * Add --with-qmake=qmake-qt4 to the configure argument list.
    (Closes: #505651)
  * Clean up debian/rules.
  * Update Build-Depends: libfwbuilder-dev (>= 3.0.1).
  * Add patch gcc-4.4.diff provided by Martin Michlmayr.
    (Closes: #505654)

  * Patch tmpdirsecurity.diff removed (script removed upstream)

Seems there's a dependency issue that needs to be resolved:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
pbuilder-satisfydepends-dummy: Depends: libfwbuilder-dev (>= 3.0.2) but 2.1.19-1 is to be installed.

Hi

Version 3.0.3 is out!

"Released 12/09/2008
GUI and compilers v3.0.3 require API library libfwbuilder version 3.0.3 "

In fact there is more than fwbuilder to backport... fwbuilder-common, fwbuilder-bsd, fwbuilder-cisco, fwbuilder-linux, libfwbuilder8. I tested it on jaunty, it works fine.
