syslog and kern.log flooding with "bad: scheduling from the idle thread!"

Hello,
my /var/log/syslog and /var/log/kern.log
get flooded with such messages.
I don't know where such messages come from.

Currently my kern.log and syslog have 170MB
size each.

Linux ubuntu 2.6.27-9-generic #1 SMP Thu Nov 20 22:15:32 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Running Ubuntu 8.10 fully patched.

I think this bug is rather a duplicate of Bug #295781.

Why do you think that? The call traces in bug 295781 are completely different, and look unrelated. The only common symptom between the two reports is the large log size. This is the same bug as bug 286285, which is why I marked it as a duplicate.
