Bug Description

Binary package hint: conduit

When I try to configure the box.net provider, I get the login window and can login. However, when I try to close the loging window, CPU goes to 100% and Conduit hangs. When I terminate it, I get the SIGSEGV attached.

Using Conduit 0.3.14 on Ubuntu 8.10.

Hi,

This is a bug in webkit, can you please install an updated version of that package from either the intrepid-updates repository;

deb http://archive.canterbury.ac.nz/ubuntu/ intrepid-updates main restricted
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ intrepid-updates main restricted

and if that does not work, then please add the webkit ppa to your sources.list and install the updated version from there.

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/webkit-team/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/webkit-team/ppa/ubuntu intrepid main

Let me know if that works, it seems to fix most peoples troubles

I had the same issue. Updating to new Webkit version (libwebkit-1.0-1) from the webkit ppa does solve the issue.
