Bug Description
When I subscribe to a mailman list, it always says something like:
Subscription results
Your subscription request has been received, and will soon be acted upon. Depending on the configuration of this mailing list, your subscription request may have to be first confirmed by you via email, or approved by the list moderator. If confirmation is required, you will soon get a confirmation email which contains further instructions.
But the configuration of the mailing list is known to the software! As an enhancement, how about something that reads less like a Microsoft Windows error message, something more definitive like:
Your subscription request has been received. Because of the configuration of this mailing list, your subscription request must approved by the list moderator.
