read-only files when using sftp mounted sites (nautilus)

gedit opens files in read-only mode when double clicking on files from a mounted sftp site (using nautilus). The permissions are set correctly.

But you must enable the feature:

use the gconf-editor to add ftp to: /apps/gedit-2/preferences/editor/save/writable_vfs_schemes

Dean, SFTP write should be enabled by default, but FTP write isn't.
