Favorite applications setting

Similar to Youtube and many other sites, I'm thinking of the ability to favorite items with one click. It'd be great to have a favorite-ing ability on GetDeb.

Who could benefit?

- People who don't have the time to download and install a new package of software NOW, but would want a reminder list to check out later

- Someone who has a favorite couple packages of software and needs a list to quickly check for updates

Hopefully by subscription, you just mean the free registration on the site.

Because paying for packages of free software...is kind of crazy.

But I probably just misunderstood, so thank you for the support.

No not really. You'd still get the packages for free, they'll be available
to everybody as before.

This is just an 'addon service' to reward subscribers somehow - because if
getdeb.net wants to grow anywhere further, more income is needed.

Well you have a point there; as long as the packages are still available for free, there's nothing to complain about. And I look forward to seeing what subscribers are offered.
