Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

Currently, mousing over the applet is worthless. You are given the instantaneous value (be it cpu or network), and the value is not updated. To make it useful, it needs either to update the value continuously, or show the average over the visible window.

Without these the user has no way to calibrate the graph either because of the dynamic ranging, making the whole output no more useful than 'it's doing something'.

Description: Ubuntu 8.10
