Bug Description

Binary package hint: bluez

According to the Bluez4 documentation there should be the methods ListNodes(), CreateNode(string) and RemoveNode(object) as well as the property Nodes on the DBus-Interface org.bluez.Device. In Intrepid they seem to be missing, and I cannot find another way to list rfcomm-nodes or create them via DBus. So this is either a bug in the documentation or in Bluez4.

bluez:
  Installed: 4.12-0ubuntu5
  Candidate: 4.12-0ubuntu5

Yeah, i've confirmed that these aren't supported and shouldn't. I've submitted a patch upstream to remove them.

Mario, the patch seems not to be in (at least in 4.62).
Do you have news about that?

Thanks

This is reported against an old version of Ubuntu and many things has changed since then. Because of that we won't fix this issue however if this behavior repeats on a modern version please fill a bug report against it and we will take it from there.
