Bug Description

Binary package hint: ffmpeg

Ubuntu Intrepid
PPC
TiBookG4
ffmpeg version:
Installed: 3:0.svn20080206-12ubuntu3
Candidate: 3:0.svn20080206-12ubuntu3

When trying to run or use ffmpeg to transcode I get the error:
symbol lookup error: /usr/local/lib/libavformat.so.51: undefined symbol: av_crc04C11DB7

I have all the links for libavformat andlibavcodec correct and I have reloaded the config file.

Installed the latest ffmpeg and libraries from Ubuntu repositories

This bug does not seem to be related to the ubuntu package, rather to a
local version you compiled and installed on your own (/usr/local isn't
touched by the packages).

this is clearly a user support question. I'm therefore converting this bug to a launchpad question.
