Bug Description

Networkmanager uses dhcp config for eth0 in it's default config. When i change it to manual and type a fixed ip, netmask, gateway and a couple of dns, save changes nothing happends. I go to details of the connection and the changes have not been applied. Once i disable and reenable the connection it applies the changes and it works properly. Once i reboot the settings are all lost. Again dhcp config is present. I have connection to the net anyway but misses the whole manual config.
It seems to happen only with version 8.10. NM is version 0.7 ( default for intrepid )

I'm running a default Intrepied install with all patches up-to-date. Running Gnome default wm.

It seems that two problems exist:
1º network manager does not apply the changes inmediately once u accept the whole config.
2º the changes are lost once the machine is rebooted.
