Bug Description
Hello,
I was trying to boot Ubuntu 8.10 live CD (Deskto Edition 32 bits) in a Toshiba Equium A200 laptop with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 (64MB). Every thing seems to be booting properly, but at the end nothing happens. If I change to a terminal (Ctrl + Alt + F1) and I run 'startx' I get a "No screens found" error. If I boot in secure graphics mode, I get exactly the same problem.
Please, could you help me with this issue? If you need any additional information, just tell me.
Thanks in advance,
Jorge.-

Hey Jorge,
Thanks for your bug report, but this seems to be a duplicate of bug 267241 (https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ xorg-server/ +bug/267241)
It is a bug on the xorg-server and we are waiting for a patch in the bug upstream.
However, in the comments on that bug there are a couple of workarounds that could help you to solve the problem.
If you still think that yous is a different problem, feel free to reopen the issue.
