WU-FTPd hung on installation

Bug Description

Binary package hint: wu-ftpd

I was using Synaptic Pkg Mgr to install Apache2, PHP5, MySQL5, Samba, and WU-FTPd. WU-FTPd was the last package to be installed, and it just hung in the Terminal window--so I hit Ctrl + C to stop the installation. This occurred on a fresh installation of Ubuntu 8.10.
