Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
Package using: I forgotten the name of the installer.
I downloaded and tried to install Kubuntu Jaunty Alpha 1 64-bit on my laptop. I ended up using a DVD since the .iso was too large to fit the CD. The md5sum matched and the CD check passed. The install did make it through the base install but fails after asking if you want to manually install the security updates. I tried to complete the install (one step remaining) and I skipped the boot loader option. The system was able to boot up but packages were missing.
I ended up booting up in another partition and chrooted into Jaunty and installed kubuntu-desktop. It appears that there libplasma2 and libplasma3 were listed as broken. I went ahead and installed it and things look ok, but I am thinking that I am still missing packages but I have no way to confirm it.
Could you please attach /var/log/ installer/ syslog to this bug, so that we can see what went wrong?
