src/MD2.c:1: error: bad value (cortex-a8) for -mtune= switch
error: command 'i686-pc-linux-gnu-gcc' failed with exit status 1

[discussion]
This is supposed to be a arm stable version. The only alternative left in the main portage tree is dev-python/pycrypto-2.0.1-r5 which shows the same problem. Possible patch needed to force checking $CHOST instead of assuming i686 toolchain? Possibility that the CROSS_COMPILE variable is not being passed properly? No immediate solutions with Gentoo bugs or Google.
