strange mouse cursor behaviour with non-xinerama dual display

Bug Description

I have a non-xinerama dual display setup (the second display being the TV-out of the video card). Under dapper, after I log in, the mouse cursor is invisible. I can move it around and it will click and mouseover things, but there is no cursor. Once I move the invisible cursor to the secondary display and back, it is suddenly visible, but not dynamic. Whatever cursor it is on when it enters the display from the secondary display is the cursor that it shows the rest of the time. So, when I go to resize a window, the cursor still shows as an arrow, etc. If when I enter the display at a time the wait cursor is showing, then I get the wait cursor frozen until I switch displays again.
