firefox bookmark do not read hebrew

after installing the new ubu 8.10 and his fire-fox 3.0.4 the Hebrew titles in bookmark are in Gibberish or some kiril form but not Hebrew. the language pack of Hebrew was setup correctly as well in fire-fox.
