Bug Description
Hello i have a notebook samsung r510 centrino 2 with graphic card nvidia gforce 9200m gs 256 MB . I use ubuntu 8.10 . if i install nvidia drivers i can't control brightness lcd pannel , it's set to maximum level of brightness. Without nvidia drivers i can control brightness only with gnome lcd applet in a range from 50% to 100% of brightness. i try to use nvclock and smartdimmer but not work. the battery life is very short .I must use windows vista for this reason.
please help !
