8.10 has Killed my CD Printing on Canon MP800

Bug Description

The Intrepid upgrade wanted to replace my cupsd.conf and I let it (though backed it up first). However, printing is out of whack now, even with the TurboPrint driver for the Canon Pixma MP800 (which isn't that well supported under Ubuntu). I've only tried CD printing (with tried-and-tested PDFs I had created when gLabels started refusing to print before 8.10), and have played around with settings, copied over the old cupsd.conf and rebooted, reinstalled TurboPrint, but printing CDs results in it printing about 1cm or so too high up, so the top is cut off... that's if I print from Evince... if I use Okular (which is based on the now defunct KPDF, which worked best for me before 8.10) it prints part of it on the right side, and a tiny bit of it at the top (quite messed up!). If I use the generic (non-TurboPrint) driver, it lines up the disc but prints nothing. I really wouldn't mind being able to print again in Ubuntu, hehe.

looks like the same bug got reported twice, so marking this as dupe of bug#301321
