Bug Description
Binary package hint: rhythmbox
This is in Intrepid, rhythmbox 0.11.6svn200810
From time to time, when I try to start Rhythmbox, it does nothing. Actually, using a terminal and --debug, I saw new instances of rhythmbox are just exiting normally: there is already a running instance in the background, which is not visible. A mere 'killall rhythmbox' stops this process and allows me to run Rhythmbox again. My guess is Rhythmbox does not stop completely when I close it.
I could not find any clear reason why sometimes this happens and sometimes not.
Attached is the backtrace of the hanging process using gdb

thanks for the report, could you install the rhythmbox-dbgsym, libglib2. 0-0-dbgsym, libgtk2.0-0-dbgsym and get a new one? thanks in advance.
