Bug Description

Binary package hint: language-pack-ar-base

dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/language-pack-ar-base_1%3a8.10+20081025_all.deb (--unpack):
 corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive

I'm guessing this is a temporary problem with my mirror, will try again later.

Thanks for your report.

You can recover from a corrupted archive with the following commands:
sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install --reinstall language-pack-ar-base

Tell us if this helps.
