Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Browser appears to shutdown constantly with out expectation. Normally youtube is running in at least one of my tabs when this happens. I also noticed that many times it occurs when I right click on a youtube media screen. It is not limited to this. But it appears that this normally triggers the shutdown of firefox. Nothing else shuts down at the same time.

I currently have these extensions:

TubeStop
TweakNetwork
BetterYouTube
Adblock Plus
I have others also.

I am also running Hardy Ubuntu (Linux)

Its not happening under Intrepid, so try to upgrade it and then tell us how its going. If the problem continue remove firefox with his configuration and re-install it.

Many bad Firefox behaviors are in fact caused by one of the many third-party 'themes', 'extensions' and 'plugins'. These will go away with a new profile - that is, when Firefox is restored to default settings and without any extensions and themes.
Could you please try with a new profile and let us know what happens?

Same here too. I only use the stock browser with no plugins other than Adblock Plus.

To the people who have reported that they are also experiencing this problem, what version of the browser are you using, and what version of Ubuntu?

Could you please try the debugging instructions here:

So that the developers have more information about the bug?
