Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 on x86/x86_64' Operation not permited

The source package I found the bug ::-> Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 on x86/x86_64.
 The release of Ubuntu I am using ::> Ubuntu 8.10 October 2008

.I am new to Linux World.
. I have xp & vista, I installed ubuntu with wubi from Vista.

.The first time ubuntu starts it checked for updates, I accepted.
.All packages have been installed & the ' Linux kernel image for version 2.6.27 on x86/x86_64' remained in the update manager & caused the error.

I need clear explanation to fix the problem, I also need Xp & Vista Working.
