No sound on .avi files

Binary package hint: totem

I'm using ubuntu on an IBM ThinkCentre Type M 8705 - A16. When I use VLC i can hear the audio from avi files, but in totem i can't. the sound icon is also disabled.

Try to install ubuntu-restricted-extras package. This package should solved it.
