kmail wont show new email under unread tag/filter

running jaunty

On previous version, the user could filter the email by unread, or new, and all the unread emails would show.
Now, if I filter by "unread" all new email will not show, so I'm forced to either just filter by new, or no filter.

Fix committed for KDE 4.2 Beta2.

Please do not file bugs here bugs in beta software have been fixed by upstream. We will pick up the fix next upstream pre-release and filing a bug like this when Jaunty is pre-alpha just gives the bug traigers more work.

If you found a bug fixed upstream when there was a stable release of kdepim (like after Ubuntu feature freeze), then it would be very much appreciated if you filed bugs like this as we could cherrypick the patch and add it to our stable packages. But this early on it just creates more work since the bug has already been fixed and we will pick it up next kdepim release anyways.
