wine fails to run in Jaunty after upgrade

Bug Description

Binary package hint: wine

After upgrade to wine 1.0.1-0ubuntu4 no programs will run under wine.

uname -a: Linux sc-laptop 2.6.27-7-generic #1 SMP Thu Oct 30 04:12:22 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Trying to run spider.exe from terminal gives the following:

I'll try and fix it next week, I suspect the problem is due to the new lib32asound package, and alsa subsequently being removed from ia32-libs.

I'm getting this too, also on 64-bit. The mention of libuuid.so.1 makes me think bug 301111 could be related, which I also get with flashplugin-nonfree.

This is a dupe of bug 298611. I tested with ia32-libs 2.2ubuntu18 (from Intrepid) and wine works again, although with a possibly unrelated issue: E: shm.c: Invalid shared memory segment size. In any case, this proves it's an ia32-libs issue.
