Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
- wireless connection.
- konqueror and opera are fine.
- firefox takes a long time to initially open my home page after launch - ie www.google.
- websites seem to have a long delay before finally appearing at regular load speeds.
- a workaround was found by using OpenDNS instead of my usual DNS in Ubuntu's Network Connections app. Found that if I change my modem's DNS to OpenDNS, it doesn't fix the issue...I must set it under Ubuntu's Network Connections.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest version of Firefox 3.0? Thanks in advance.
