mono SqlConnection is broken on 1.0 profile

This bug appears in an asp.net/c# application targeted at the Mono/.NET 1.1 runtime profile after upgrading to 8.10 on a project that was working with mono+monodevelop+xsp on gutsy.

A patch was supplied as part of the bug report at mono site and was released, presumably to a later version than is in the 8.10 ubuntu release.

I am unclear about what needs to be done to resolve this problem. I am guessing that libmono-data-tds1.0-cil is the package and that it needs to be updated at ubuntu with the later release from mono, but perhaps I only show my ignorance? Is there something I need to do locally to resolve it?

When this bug is fixed in Debian, then it would be possible to apply for a "SRU" (Stable Release Update). The procedure for that can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates

I'm not promising that the SRU team would accept it, but that's the procedure to ask for the bug fix (once the fixed package exists) to be applied to Intrepid
