Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnochm

Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
gnochm version: 0.9.11-2

When I start gnochm in a terminal, I get a deprecation warning:

'/usr/bin/gnochm:474: GtkWarning: GtkSpinButton: setting an adjustment with non-zero page size is deprecated
  self.xml = gtk.glade.XML(path_prefdialog, None, app)'

and when opening an chm file I get lots of

'Unhandled property: 51 letter-spacing'

and

'Unhandled property: 53 list-style'

The chm is not rendered correctly, in some words the letter spacing is far too small. Example is attached below.

This bug affects me too and still affects this package in Karmic.

The deprecation message is unrelated to the unhandled property messages, and is trivial to fix; I've opened bug 789398 and submitted a patch there.

gnochm was removed in 10.10 and later.
