Bug Description
Comment on a bug assigned to the MOTU team, and you receive a "Your message to Universe-bugs awaits moderator approval" mail that you don't want. The same thing happens with the Ubuntu Accessibility team, the Ubuntu Documentation team, etc.

The MOTUs have decided, in the absence of package subscriptions, to assign bugs to a moderated mailing list. I suggest taking this up with the MOTUs. There's nothing Launchpad can do about this, except implementing package subscriptions as a better way of sending mail about all bugs in a package.
