lost synchronization of Trackpoint if hald is running

Bug Description
If hald daemon is running, my trackpoint on IBM ThinkPad r31 losts synchronization. If hald daemon is killed, then trackpoint works fine (without lost of synchronization).
I have Ubuntu 5.10 with all updates.
