Debian's kdeutils is only at version 3.5.10 in unstable, and still has kregexpeditor. However, they have version 4:4.1.3-1 in experimental, and it doesn't seem to have kregexpeditor.

 I looked around some but I wasn't able to figure out if it had been dropped upstream.

 On my Intrepid system, I just kept kregexpeditor from Hardy. It seems to work fine with Intrepid's libraries.

Upstream has not included kregxpeditor in any KDE4 kdeutils release. (Still pretty much alpha, iirc)

Actually it doesn't have a maintainer (beside the fact that the current port is alpha quality).
