Bug Description

I cannot switch off Wifi on my EEEPC 1000H. Apart from Wifi toggle with Fn-F2 never works for me, even if I disable the Wifi device in BIOS it gets switched on again during boot. This is very inconvenient for longer travels because I almost never need Wifi abroad so I do not want it to use up precious battery time,

Hi,

i've the same problem on a 901-BK051X.

This is due to a test in the eeepc-wiki-toggle.sh script, that distable the toggle for kernel >= 2.6.27.

Correcting this problem is simple: edit /etc/acpi/eeepc-wiki-toggle.sh and change kernel version limit from 2.6.27 to 2.6.28 on line 41.

The toggle work nice on intrepid with standard kernel.
