apport doesn't start on ubuntu intrepid

sudo /etc/init.d/apport start

I haven't modified the init script. I already reinstalled apport.

It works fine for me. Are you sure that you haven't modified the init script at all? Could you please attach it to the bug report.

I don't know why it doesn't work for you. I can't recreate it and there's no diff between the script on my machine and the one you attached
