Bug Description

'sudo apt-get install stardict' installs the espeak plugin, with a host of dependencies. Plugin installation should usually be recommended or suggested, but never required. Especially when heavy dependencies are implied.

They are in there as recommends. In Ubuntu 8.10 apt was changed to install recommends by default. You can stop this by sudo apt-get install sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends stardict, which will install stardict without the recommends.
