Bug Description

This is a feature request.

Like FireFox, it would be preferable if extensions could be installed from the Inkscape menu by accessing a central repository.

For that we first need central repository. And for that we need Python and Perl working by default on all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux).

We now have an extensions manager starting in Inkscape 1.1 which pulls extensions from the repository on the website.
