Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
I have a ATI 3870HD with two 20" lcd panels attached. They all work perfectly with the new kubuntu which is fantastic. The problem however is that one of the desktops does *not* show a background or the cashew (aka plasma). This worked fine on archlinux with kde4 so I can only assume its either the fglrx driver kubuntu 8.10 uses or the patches kubuntu has applied to plasma
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10
ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/plasma
NonfreeKernelMo
Package: kdebase-
ProcEnviron:
PATH=/
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: kdebase-workspace
Uname: Linux 2.6.27-7-generic x86_64
This works fine now that I upgraded to kde 4.1.3 from backports.
