Bug Description

Hello ,

I have ever reported 2 bugs . I've probably find that they are linked by the same problem :
The 2 ones are :

* folder in a same partition can't be shared
* Partition have no trash ( files are directly deleted when they are removed )

Error of sharing can help you :

-- « net usershare » a retourné l'erreur 255 : net usershare add: cannot share path /media/Internet/Emule as we are restricted to only sharing directories we own.
Ask the administrator to add the line "usershare owner only = False"
to the [global] section of the smb.conf to allow this. --

In forum , someone ask me to change rights of the partition . I v'e made it : "sudo chmod -R a+rwx /Partition "
But nothing have changed

I hope that I give you some help , thanks for your work

Ps : info (mount-option) defaults,nosuid,nodev,uhelper=hal,locale=fr_FR.UTF-8

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs.
