Bug Description
I'll try to install (X)Ubuntu 8.10 on my old laptop, but time to time it may hangup on loading system and after successful installation. Ubuntu 8.04 installed well, but сan't find video driver(same with me, I not found it), it run in safe graphic mode -after i press "next" it do nothing...only console, X's not starting.
Ubuntu 8.10, installed well but hang up on loading.
need more information from me to fix this bug?

New Mandriva2009 with new 'linux core' works fine for me, but i want use Ubuntu.
