Thanks for reporting this issue.

When installing oneko version 1.2.sakura.6-8 on Ubuntu Quantal, it does not create a menu entry. This package needs a desktop file.

A desktop file has been added to onekeo 1.2.sakura.6-11. This version is available in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Utopic Unicorn, thus this issue can be considered fixed.

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please perform as much as possible of the SRU Procedure [1] to bring the need to a developer's attention.
