Bug Description
Since not all the 32-bit codecs are supported (yet) in mplayer 64-bit, I was hoping if the medibuntu team could make a 32-bit binary of mplayer that:
- would be named such as "mplayer-686" or whatever is appropriate.
Anything other than "mplayer" would allow the binaries to co-exist with the 64-bit mplayer package.
- would read the /usr/lib32/ folder for 32-bit libraries and codecs (32-bit codecs from w32codecs could be included in 64-bit w64codecs too?).
Note that there already exist 32-bit libraries in Ubuntu as packages for 64-bit architectures, ia32-libs and ia32-libs-dev.

Has anyone accomplished this? I might try to create a package for it one of these days :)
