ignoring DISPLAY on an Xnest run of startkde

Bug Description

I'm running Intrepid with Gnome as my desktop, but I have the Kubuntu packages installed and keep a Konqueror and (old KDE3) ksirc running on my Gnome desktop.

I wanted to try some KDE4 stuff so I did:

Xnest -ac :1 &
export DISPLAY=:1
startkde &

I got the KDE splash on the Xnest with the icons showing the progress of startup - and then stuff started appearing on my :0 main display; I got the filemanager appearing and KDE4 panels appearing over my GNOME ones and various windows moved about

I guess something somewhere decided to ignore DISPLAY and share something with a demon running on my main display.

Dave

Is this still an issue for you in Kubuntu 9.04?
